Christos Panagopoulos

Christos T. Panagopoulos was born in Thessaloniki. He studied Journalism and Mass Communication at the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Media Communication of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He holds a Master of Arts degree in “Quality Journalism & New Technologies” (QJNT) from the DUK University of Austria, specialising in the management, organisation and operation of new generation newsrooms (aka Integrated Newsrooms). He started journalism in 2001 at the Greek National Radio of Thessaloniki (102 FM) and worked for numerous news websites, newspapers and television. He previously worked as Editor in Chief for CNN Greece and at present works as Newsroom Manager and Editor in Chief for Liberal.gr. He is fluent in French, English and Italian and
interprets and translates in four languages (English, French, Italian, Greek and vice versa). Since 2020 he has been a regular member of the Journalists’ Union of Athens Daily Newspapers (JUADN).
