Biography

Samuel Tilleray is an Associate in S&P Global Ratings sovereign ratings division, which he joined in 2016. He currently has direct responsibility for S&P Global’s credit ratings on Greece, Cyprus, Jordan, Jersey, and Guernsey and has covered numerous sovereigns across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

In addition to his credit responsibilities, Samuel is charged with writing research articles on global sovereign issues. This has included research on changing demographics, tourism economies, the IMF SDR allocation, and the implications of the ongoing food shock.

Samuel has previously worked at T. Rowe Price and Old Mutual Global Investors (now part of Jupiter Asset Management), and holds undergraduate and master’s degrees in Economics from the London School of Economics and Erasmus University Rotterdam.
